Shapoorji Pallonji Hosts Multi-City Property Expo in Gurugram
Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate (SPRE) hosted the SPRE Property Expo on April 25–26, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Gurugram. The two-day event brought together a diverse mix of residential developments from six key markets in India.
Portfolio Scope and Property Range
The property expo featured a curated portfolio of residential projects spanning Gurugram, Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Bengaluru, and Howrah, with offerings including residences, villas, and plots ranging from ₹60 lakhs to ₹25 crore.
The event was designed to give prospective homebuyers and investors the opportunity to engage directly, gain insights into multiple markets, and evaluate options based on their requirements. On-ground consultations allowed visitors to interact with sales teams.
Developer Context: 160 Years of Real Estate Scale
Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate is a significant segment of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, a multi-business conglomerate with more than 160 years of legacy. The company has a development potential of over 142 million square feet and a portfolio of land parcels spread over 2,000 acres, with an estimated value of around $6 billion or Rs 50,000 crore.
SPRE has made inroads into most Indian cities—Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Howrah and Kolkata—with a variety of developments, from luxury apartments and opulent residences to aspirational homes for mid-income homebuyers, as well as one of the largest mass housing projects in India.
Within the mass housing space, Shukhobrishti in Kolkata is currently India's largest mass housing project, a township spread over 150 acres consisting of 20,000 residential units, with half already completed and occupied.
Buyer Sentiment and Market Opportunity
According to Rima Kirtikar, Chief Marketing Officer of SPRE, India's real estate market continues to demonstrate strong resilience, with buyer sentiment remaining positive, particularly among investors looking to diversify across high-growth corridors. In markets like Gurugram, there is a clear shift towards more informed, opportunity-led investments, with buyers increasingly focused on both value and long-term appreciation.
Shapoorji Pallonji's Construction Legacy
The group is famed for structural icons including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) headquarters, the Taj Mahal Palace hotel towers, and royal Omani sovereign palaces. After the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the company was involved in the repairs and renovation of Taj Mahal Palace & Tower that was severely damaged by the attack. In 2010, the company built The Imperial, India's tallest building of the time, a residential tower in Mumbai.
In January 2016, the Group launched Joyville Homes, its first affordable housing brand. Joyville by Shapoorji Pallonji is a platform where ACTIS (an international finance corporation) and the Asian Development Bank are partnering to make premium group housing projects pan India, with the platform already operating in cities like Kolkata, Gurugram, Pune, and Mumbai.
